In my opinion this is the trickier part of obtaining a trial membership with NFLT. So, I want to reiterate why we ask for the information in the initial post. It really is important to include the following:
Email address
First name and Last name
ALSO - we need a little information from you about who you are. Why? Well, first, it helps to keep all of our families safe. Secondly, when your family joins I start a new thread on our private members only section of the NFLT forum to welcome you. To do that we'd like information that you are willing to share with the group. I understand that part can be a little unnerving so if you want to talk to me on the phone first just let me know and we'll arrange a time to chat. If you are comfortable, then just tell us a little about yourself and your family! Who are you, general area where you live, if you are new to homeschooling, anything that you'd like to share about your family. It really is a lot of fun to receive the warm welcome from our members. It helps you know right away that you aren't alone and support is at your fingertips. You'll be joining approximately 50 other northland families. Each family is unique in their size, developmental stage and academic/life approach. There are many who are more than happy to offer their support.
After you have submitted that information, I'll email you as soon as I see it come through. If you don't get a response within 24 hours please try again. I tend to spend a little too much time on my computer and if I haven't seen it within a day something went wrong
